Returns

Studio Ekdahl produces both made-to-order furniture and small-batch objects. Return eligibility varies depending on the type of item purchased.

Made-to-order and bespoke items

Furniture produced to order is made specifically for each customer.
These items cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact the studio as soon as possible with photographs of the item and packaging so the issue can be assessed and resolved.

Stock items

For items that are held in stock and shipped immediately (such as certain Provisions objects), returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • the item must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • it must be returned in its original packaging

  • proof of purchase must be provided

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged.


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival.
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact the studio promptly so the issue can be evaluated and resolved.


European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If goods are shipped to a customer located within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving the item, provided it is unused and returned in its original condition and packaging.

This right does not apply to made-to-order or bespoke items, which are exempt under EU consumer law.

 

Refunds

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, you will be notified whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
